IS MICROBLADING THE RIGHT LOOK FOR YOU?

Microblading has taken the world of beauty and fashion by storm, providing a new way for beauty specialists to help you look your very best. Hair follicles are incredibly easy to damage by improperly over-plucking or over-waxing, and even just age can make once-full eyebrows look thin and sparse, which can drastically increase the time and effort it takes to make your brows look perfect. But is it right for you?

IS MICROBLADING THE RIGHT LOOK FOR YOU?

Microblading has taken the world of beauty and fashion by storm, providing a new way for beauty specialists to help you look your very best. Hair follicles are incredibly easy to damage by improperly over-plucking or over-waxing, and even just age can make once-full eyebrows look thin and sparse, which can drastically increase the time and effort it takes to make your brows look perfect. Many are looking for easy ways to restore their eyebrows to their former glory, and others still are just looking for a way to save some time in their morning routines. Microblading is a semi-permanent method to help you ensure that your brows will look consistently perfect for years to come, and is a perfect solution for those who are looking to do both.

WHAT IS IT?

So what is microblading, you may be asking. Microblading is a new trend that is becoming more and more popular for those who simply don’t have hours to put into getting a perfect arch every single time. It takes a bundle of needles arranged in a straight line (a “blade”) and uses them to make superficial scratches in the brow line where pigment can be inserted, to give eyebrows a fuller look. Think tattooed eyebrows that last years instead of forever, as only the top layer of skin is receiving pigment. Discuss with your specialist beforehand whether you want natural eyebrows or thick, bold eyebrows that make a statement. While this sounds like an incredibly painful treatment, many spas or specialists will use topical creams and ointments to numb the area before the microblading begins. It probably won’t make the sensation pleasant, but it will help to keep you comfortable for the duration of your visit.

The most important part of microblading is making sure you find a reputable, highly-skilled professional to perform the procedure. Since the result is a semi-permanent fixture on the upper half of your face, making sure you hire a high-quality beauty technician is imperative. The high cost of some specialists may be a barrier that makes cheaper options seem more appealing, but the old saying “you get what you pay for” truly does apply here.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Microblading isn’t cheap if you want it done correctly. While highly-trained beauty specialists can cost well over $500, trying to save a few dollars can land you with a disaster like this. If you can find a technician who is certified, experienced and has a portfolio of prior work that shows that they have the skills to make you look perfect, however, this may be just the treatment you need.  Expect to spend at least $400, or even as much as $800. Vibe MedSpa charges $600 for our expert microblading treatments, putting us on the higher end of the scale, but our talent and skill make it a price worth paying. You get what you pay for, so make sure you get something good.

It’s also a time-consuming process. Estimates list it as taking anywhere from 30-45 minutes to a full hour. The variance comes in part from the experience of the technician, but another important factor to consider when planning your appointment is how filled-in you want your eyebrows to be. The fuller and bolder you want your eyebrows, the longer it will take to achieve the look you want. At Vibe MedSpas, you can expect to spend about two hours in-clinic, in order for our specialists to both consult with you about how you want your brows to look after the procedure, as well as to actually perform it.

If you are looking to ensure your eyebrows remain perfect and pristine now and for years to come, consider contacting us today. Our knowledgeable, well-educated beauticians will take the stress out of the procedure and help you look like the perfect, most beautiful you that you can be.
